of project:

Aim of 45 mln. USD funded project is to properly route all household and industrial sewage of more than 400 000 resident district as well as first portions of storm runoff coming from Arcadia basin.

Scope of the wastewater design includes:

  • New 22 m deep pumping station with 3350 liter per sec capacity.
  • New 16 m deep pumping station with 4620 liter per second capacity.
  • Reconstruction of pumping station with 114 liter per second capacity.
  • Construction of 4 km dia. 1000 mm pressure pipelines.
  • Rehabilitation of 1,6 km dia. 1800 mm deep laying underground collector.

Description of services provided by staff:

Information collection, hydraulic modeling of southern catchment area basin pressure and gravity networks, computational modeling of flow in complex structures by CFD methods, development of different system design options, stage P and stage R (detailed) design, support of the Client in development of technical specifications for bidding documents according World bank procedure, support of the client during design approval in Minregion and Cabinet of Ministry as well as during project implementation. Pre-contract services, evaluation of technical proposal, project implementation supervision and assisting to the Client in change orders, procurement verification, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
